Privacy Notice — Waitlist
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Short version: we collect your email so we can tell you when Waysey's ready, and nothing else. The rest of this page is the specifics.
This page covers what happens to your email address if you join the Waysey waitlist on this site. Waysey doesn't have a public product yet — this notice is intentionally narrow, and will be replaced by a full Privacy Policy once the product itself launches.
What we collect
Just your email address, plus the timestamp you gave consent. Nothing else is requested on this page, and we don't run analytics or ad trackers here. Our hosting and database providers keep standard infrastructure logs (like IP-level request logs) as part of normal operation — that's separate from analytics/tracking and isn't something we query or use.
Who can join
Waysey is built for people 18 and older, so joining the waitlist requires confirming you're 18+ — same age floor the live product will have.
Why we collect it
Solely to email you when early access to Waysey opens up, and to gauge interest before we invest further in the product.
Who can see it
Your email is stored in our database (Supabase) and is accessible only to Waysey team members with database access. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties, and we do not use it for anything beyond the purpose above.
How long we keep it
Until early access opens and you either join or ask to be removed — or until we decide not to proceed with Waysey, at which point waitlist data is deleted.
Your choices
Email hello@waysey.com at any time to have your email removed from the waitlist — we'll action it promptly. If you're located outside the United States (including the EU/UK), the legal basis for this collection is your consent via the checkbox above, and the same removal request works for you too.
Looking ahead
When Waysey opens for real use, a full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will apply to accounts, trips, and any content you post — covering things like data retention, your rights, and how AI-assisted suggestions work. Those documents are being drafted now and will be reviewed by a lawyer before anyone signs up for the live product. Joining this waitlist does not create an account or grant access to anything beyond this page.
